Patchwork carpets are made by putting pieces of different old & new carpets together and sewing these pieces to each other, and finally lining them.
Considering that these carpets are made from different pieces and each piece has a different design and color, Each patchwork carpet is a unique and unrepeatable piece of art which make it exotic. Generally, these carpets are woolen and light.
We present two types of patchwork carpets in Mithra group. A type where pieces of old carpets are transformed into a new and attractive carpet using patchwork techniques bringing them back to life. In another type, the pieces of rugs are sewn together and some of these rugs are woven from wools that are not dyed, stable natural colors make them perfect for people with allergic reaction to synthetic dyes. In other patchwork, the process of dyeing on wool and pieces of different rugs are artistically arranged together.
The lining behind the rug is used to maintain the integrity of the rug which makes the back of the rug more beautiful and prevents it from sliding on the surface.
